Supporting reflective, thoughtful practice

“A really valuable space to reflect and think through complex work.” - EP Colleague

I offer professional supervision for Educational Psychologists and school staff who are looking for a supportive, reflective space to think about their work.

This may include:

  • Case discussion and formulation

  • EHC needs assessments and report writing

  • Problem-solving and decision-making

  • Navigating local authority systems and processes

  • A broader space to reflect on professional experiences

Supervision can provide an opportunity to step back, gain perspective, and feel more confident in your thinking and practice.

Who supervision is for

Supervision is available for:

  • Educational Psychologists (including locum and independent EPs)

  • Trainee or early career EPs

  • SENCOs and school staff seeking reflective consultation

My approach

My approach to supervision is collaborative, reflective, and grounded in curiosity and respect.

I aim to create a space that feels:

  • Safe and non-judgemental

  • Supportive but appropriately challenging

  • Open to uncertainty and different perspectives

Supervision is not about providing answers, but about thinking together, developing understanding, and supporting ethical and effective practice.

Areas we might explore

Depending on your role and needs, supervision may include:

  • Developing and refining formulation

  • Reflecting on complex or uncertain casework

  • Considering the emotional impact of the role

  • Working through challenges within systems or services

  • Building confidence in professional judgement and decision-making

Practical arrangements

  • Sessions are typically 60–90 minutes

  • Delivered online or in person by arrangement

  • Supervision can be offered on an ongoing or ad hoc basis

Sessions are subject to availability, and advance notice is recommended where possible.
